Sean LeBeauf is the founder and owner of New Wave Performance, an organization focused on growing the sport of basketball in the Mid-south region. With an impressive coaching background in the sport, Sean LeBeauf creates a unique environment for players to learn the game of basketball. At New Wave Performance, Sean LeBeauf is committed to developing fundamental and advanced basketball skills in each player.

About Sean LeBeauf

With a strong club base New Wave Performance conducts regular fixtures for high school athlete development programs for varying skill levels. At New Wave, Sean LeBeauf focuses on teaching players the proper fundamentals and skills of basketball. LeBeauf works to Sean Lebeaufinstill the proper discipline and work ethic into the players, which is needed to overcome specific challenges. As the organization owner, Sean LeBeuaf also assists coaches at all levels in the areas of skill development, scouting and analytics. LeBeauf works to connect players and coaches in efforts to create college opportunities for individuals in his community.

Prior to opening New Wave Performance, Sean LeBeauf worked as both a teacher and basketball coach in a variety of capacities. More recently, LeBeauf was the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Paris Junior College. As Head Basketball Coach he was responsible for planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, and performance of student athletes, along with fiscal program management, for Paris Junior Colleges NCAA Division I intercollegiate women’s basketball program.

LeBeauf also worked as the Women’s Assistant Basketball coach at the University of Arizona from 2013 to 2016. During his time there, Sean was responsible for program building including, planning, coaching, and recruiting. Sean found great success at Arizona. He assisted in signing the 25th ranked recruiting class for 2015, in addition to the development of four players signing professional contracts. LeBeauf assisted with all aspects of an NCAA Division I program that competed within the PAC-12. Over the course of his three years there, Sean was involved in all areas of national recruitment of prospective student-athletes. He was responsible for implementing offensive and zone defensive systems, in addition to monitoring academic performance of student athletes.

Following an impressive career, Sean LeBeauf is now deeply passionate and committed to New Wave Performance. Through New Wave, Sean hopes to create and sustain a successful men’s basketball program through the academic and athletic development of the student-athletes to their highest potential.

Today, he serves as Associate Head Coach of the Northern Colorado Bears Women’s Basketball team, previously holding the position of Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Prairie View A&M University Women’s Basketball team.
